Wonk Week is Quorum’s premier event, bringing together public affairs professionals for two days of in-person programming. This year’s event will take place on October 1-2, 2024 at the AT&T Forum in Washington, D.C.

Everything You Need to Know About Speaking at Wonk Week

01. What is a Wonk Week session?

Wonk Week is Quorum’s annual user conference, which brings together public affairs professionals from around the world to learn best practices in grassroots, lobbying, knowledge management, and PAC strategy from industry experts and hear about the latest product and feature updates.

Each session lasts about 45 minutes and can be in a few formats:

  • Panel Discussion: a moderated conversation with 2-3 experts sharing their perspectives on a specific topic
  • Fireside Chat: a conversational session moderated by a Quorum team member
  • Presentation: a structured presentation on a specific topic using slides or other visual aids
  • Workshop: an interactive session designed to solve a problem or achieve a specific outcome
  • Other: Ask-Me-Anything (AMA), Case Study Presentation, etc. — our team is here to help you determine the best format for your session

All sessions will be held in person this year and followed by a Q&A discussion.

02. Why Speak at Wonk Week?

Quorum is the leading public affairs software for legislative tracking, grassroots advocacy, stakeholder engagement, and PAC management. Wonk Week speakers are similarly recognized as industry leaders and subject matter experts on these topics.

  • Speakers and their companies/organizations gain increased visibility within the industry

03. What is Required to Speak at Wonk Week?

Participating in Wonk Week as a speaker should take at most than 5-10 hours of your time, depending on the type of session. Here’s what to expect if you’re selected to speak:   

  • A kickoff session with our team to learn about your work and presentation topic (or brainstorm one) – late August
  • A speaker kit with graphics to promote your session – September
  • Presentation support from our team; speakers will prepare slides and talking points, and collaborate with our team as needed – September
  • A final walkthrough session to review content, logistics, etc. – late September

04. How Can I Become a Speaker at Wonk Week?

The first step is to fill out the form. Our Content Team will review all submissions and contact you with additional information if you are selected to speak.
